Finally!!!! My BOM has appeared in this month's edition of Australian Homespun magazine. Featuring "Miss Twinkle's Teahouse" and the always cat napping Brutus.
(....."Hey! I'm not ALWAYS napping, I do other things too, like eating, snacking, snoozing, nibbling and visiting Miss Possum in the back garden...")
The block also features gorgeously designed buttons from Giggle Buttons. Get this month's edition of Australian Homespun(Issue 12.9) from your local newsagent.
Don't forget to enter my competition if you haven't already...
P.S If you are a shop that stocks the magazine and will ship it internationally at a reasonable price, please help people out and list your details in the comment section. I always get asked by people overseas where to get the magazine from, so I would love to be able to help them out....TA.
Love the block, I have a couple of friends making these, really nice.

Hi Bronwyn, I live in New Zealand and I have found the cheapest way of getting Australian Homespun is by subscription through Universal Magazines in Australia, it is always delivered prior to the magazine hitting the shops and I never miss out on a copy.

Gorgious block! I love your drawings, they always make me smile, thanks :-).
May be it's nice to know for people living 'overseas' that Homespun is now available in a digital version as well, certainly saves a lot of costs for delivery

Although I think I love the paper version better, but I'm oldfashioned, I love real books better too LOL.
Thanks for the lovely stitchery patterns you design.

This block is absolutely delightful! I'm going to have to start haunting the one store that I know occasionally carries Homespun here in Utah, US. This is a block I would love to make. Hugs...

Very cute. I think I would worry what Brutus was up to if he wasn't in the design...lol... Happy crafting, Jenny

What a cutie pattern. It's a BOM, so more will follow from you?

This would have to be my favourite block so far in the Homespun "My Town" BOM, followed by the church. I love this one and am nearly done apart from the flowers on the roof and the fence. Can't wait to see the whole quilt together.

I'm in Gunnedah, and I sell Homespun! or you can get it mailorder from me. www.cookiesandcreamcraft.com.au
I love your new block, Bronwyn! Always happy to see Brutus enjoying a nap. *grin*

I love the block with the tea house and have been looking after the magazines by google. I am from Denmark and we don't have the magazines here. The digital magazine is good for me I think but I cannot se if I can get all the magazines with the BOM. Gould anybody give me the date where the BOM begins and I will try to get it where it is possible.
Maybe the BOM could be made as a pattern for us in the distance far far away.

Hi Vibeke,
The Teahouse pattern was a design I did specifically for Australian Homespun magazine. I think it has been going since February, someone correct me it I'm wrong and I think it finishes this month or next. You will need to contact the magazine themselves www.completecraft.com.au. or the magazines publishers- Universal Magazines
(http://www.universalshop.com.au/epages/unun3754.sf/en_AU/?ObjectPath=/Shops/dede7012/Products/Australian_Homespun/SubProducts/%22Australian%20Homespun%20to%20Australia%22)
or you can subscribe to these magazines online through Zinio
http://au.zinio.com/browse/publications/index.jsp?sch=true&productId=500634623
I know a lot of people in the States use Zinio and are happy with them. The magazine arrives to your inbox each month.
Hope this helps Vibeke...
